Brighton Beach Travel Guide/Tips

If you are planning a holiday for yourself and you this season, then you have certainly chosen well by choosing Brighton Beach. This is one idealistic holiday spot that is not only picturesque but offers loads of stuff for the entire family to do. There are so many things to do in Brighton Beach that you will never ever hear anyone say that they are bored.

The thing to keep in mind are these simple to follow travel guides and tips to ensure that you are safe and able to have a whale of a time at the beach. It's a good idea to be able to go right ahead and have your share of the fun but keep safety in mind.

  • Ensure that you understand the signs and safety board's put up on the beach. This will ensure that you are able to read the danger signs and not go near those specified areas.
  • The next thing to remember is to swim only at a beach spot that is patrolled by a lifeguard. The waters of a deserted spot might look really tempting and beckoning but they are not for you.
  • Never go swimming out alone or in the dark. Also, do not go ahead and swim just after you have just eaten something. This can be the worst thing that you could ever do.
  • There can be quite a few dangerous sea currents that you can get caught in. Firstly, don't venture too deep into the sea when you notice that it is choppy. In case you get caught in a current, do not panic. Stay calm and afloat. Do try to swim for or against it unless you are a really strong swimmer.
  • Ensure that you are adequately clothed on the beach. Get yourself a good amount of sun tan lotion so that you do get a healthy looking honey colored suntan but don't come out looking red as a baked lobster.
  • Watch out for dangerous marine creatures. Although this is not the norm you never know when a sting ray, crab or some other marine creature might get in your way. Adequate precautions on your part will ensure that you do not leave yourself vulnerable to stings and bites which can be quite painful and poisonous.
  • If you were to go ahead and research the spots that you want to visit beforehand you will be able to get to the sun, sand and sea without wasting any time locating it. The beach can be a haven in the early mornings and late evenings when not many people might be around.
  • Check out the spots that might not have too many tourists and where you can set up your umbrella in peace and read a book or just relax in your beachwear. There can be nothing more invigorating and refreshing than a holiday of this kind.

Armed with these guidelines you can certainly not go wrong. You will be able to get the most out of your Brighton Beach holiday.
